Powder Day (noun)
1. The day after a large snowfall in which a skier/snowboarder drops all other commitments to glide on fluffy, deep, powdery snow.
2. Every skier’s dream.
3. Your ideal day of joy and renewal, wherever that may be.
WHY “POWDER DAYS”?
Powder Days are every skier’s dream but everyone has their equivalent of a powder day.
For some, it’s a day on the golf course. For others, it might be fly fishing a favorite stream, climbing a technical mountainside, relaxing on a beach, playing with the grandkids, or anything that brings them joy and renewal.
At Powder Days Marketing, our mission is simple: Grow Your Business, Giving You More Powder Days.
We take care of your marketing. We get the job done–increase sales AND remove that extra “marketing hat” you’ve been wearing so you can focus on other parts of the business.
More profit. More time. More Powder Days.
THEY CALL ME WOOHOO
In our family, we’ve all earned nicknames for our outdoor adventures… and mishaps. My nickname is “Woohoo”. It’s a long story. With a short ending.
I watch the snow reports. When a nearby resort gets a “nuked”, my family knows not to look for me in my office. I’m on the slopes. Searching for the fluffiest, deepest powder.
Snow. Sweat. Sky. Clarity.
From skiing Honeycomb canyon, to slick rock mountain biking with my son, to exploring nearby hiking trails with my youngest daughter (aka my hiking buddy), I live for my “powder days” and they fuel me.
For decades now, I’ve worked with hundreds of small business owners, and I always see the same thing:
Business owners struggling to take their business to the next level without sacrificing the reasons they do what they do in the first place. Their powder days.
It’s time we did something about that. Let’s grow your company so that, when it snows, we won’t find you at your desk.

REAL WORLD RESULTS

“Going from zero inbound leads to regular, monthly inbound leads from multiple sources was a huge marketing win for Tech9. This contributed to our 300%+ growth while Travis (Powder Days) was serving as our Fractional CMO. Sales and Marketing don’t always get along at companies but we worked really well together!“
– Robert Howarth, Tech9
“Travis helped us step back and clearly map the full customer journey end to end, identifying gaps, friction points, and missed opportunities we hadn’t seen before. He brought a strong strategic lens while also grounding the work in practical, actionable improvements. If you’re looking for a fractional CMO who can bring clarity to your customer journey and elevate your overall marketing strategy, I highly recommend Travis and Powder Days Marketing
– Matthew Hartvigsen, Saprea

“As a solo business owner, it’s hard to not feel like you need to be in 100 places at once to market your business. Travis helped me create an achievable marketing strategy and focus on the most important channels, while ignoring the least important. His knowledge in marketing and the education I received was incredibly value.“
– Taylor Westergard, Evolving Money Coaching
“Trust me, you need Travis. If you’ve EVER wondered if your marketing is on track (or where on earth to start) you need his marketing matrix audit. He’ll help you get clear on what’s working and what’s not so you can know where to invest for the biggest impact.“
